The Golden Triangle has a fair selection of lodging and dining establishments, including some remote and exclusive resorts as well as budget options. In many cases, hotels and guesthouses offer on-site restaurants which make for sociable hang-outs.
Aside from Chiang Rai, all other locations in the area are fairly quiet, offering limited options. Additionally, it’s possible to find a plethora of roadside restaurants and street vendors where you can eat good food at seriously low prices, if you wish to join the locals.
