Klong Praow Resort is set about a beach mangrove

Koh Chang has a reputation as an island which welcomes budget travellers, and there are a few places where you can get your head down for the night for little more than the cost of a beer. However, exclusive resorts and hotels are popping up faster than you can say sawadee.

If back to basics is not exactly what you are looking for, then for between 500 and 1,000 baht a night you can find a place with its own bathroom and some basic comforts. As a rule, it’s wise to head for the quieter, less developed beaches if it’s budget to mid-priced accommodation that you are looking for.

We have partnered with a supplier that offers a large range of hotel and lodging options to suit all budgets, book online here for the discounted internet rates.
