Budget carrier AirAsia is offering a million free seats to over 70 destinations in various parts of Asia, including Thailand. Those wanting to take advantage of the offer need to make their bookings before Sunday, for travel valid between May and October 2010.
The free flights are just that, according to AirAsia officials, with no fuel surcharge or administration fees being slipped into the deal.
AirAsia’s officials have said travellers have been on the look-out for good-value-for-money deals int eh light of the current economical woes, and the carrier is hoping to provide just the fillip for people to start travelling again.
AirAsia has traditionally been big on promotions and offers, and are said to have benefitted tremendously through the related exposure the airline has achieved.
Also included in the current give-aways are complementary packages with hotel stays in select hotels in the region. Over 180 Asia-Pacific hotels are said to be featured in the give-away.
