This year's Samui Regatta promises to be the best ever with an enlarged event boasting even more competitions in numerous disciplines plus fun and games for all the family. Hardened sailors will have the time of their lives.

June 04: Charity Mini-Marathon
Where: Three Kings Monument
When: registration at 15:00
This free mini-marathon at Chiang Mai’s Three Kings Monument is in support of anti-human trafficking charity work. The champion will take home the coveted Chiang Mai governor’s cup. Call 053 112 642 or 053 112 161 for more information.

June 06-11: Phuket Snooker Cup
Where: Royal Paradise Hotel & Spa

Meet your favourite world class snooker players while they compete in this Thailand Circuit events. Stuart Bingham, Alfie Burden and Ratchapol Pu-Ob-Orm will all be there and admission is completely free!

June 10-11: Pattaya Players

Pattaya’s favourite amateur dramatics society presents Neil Simon’s Rumors. Tickets cost just 1,000 baht including dinner and the show and it promises to be a fabulous event for all the family.

June 11: Drag Racing
Where: 700 Years Stadium, Chiang Mai

June 12: Laguna International Marathon
Where: Laguna Resort Phuket, northwest Phuket
When: all day
Get to see a side to the paradise island that you wouldn’[t normally experience during the annual Phuket Marathon. The course is postcard coastal Thailand and takes in a typical Thai village market, rubber plantation, beach plus numerous gorgeous sea views and buffalo-ploughed rice fields before finishing at Laguna Phuket.

June 16: Full Moon Party
Where: Haad Rin beach, Koh Phan Ngan
When: starts after dark
Thailand’s famous full moon party kicks off after dark on the beach of Haad Rin on the neighbouring island of Koh Phangan. Prepare to party hard as live music is hosted by a number of different beachside bars and DJs travel from all over the world to spin the latest tunes to party people.

June 16-19: International Guitar Festival
Where: Siam City Hotel, 477 Sri Ayuthaya Road, Bangkok

Guitarists from Thailand, Japan, Korea, Costa Rica and other far-flung countries take over the stage at the Asia International Guitar Festival in Siam City Hotel every year. Take a morning masterclass, watch the daily competitions and attend the evening concerts.

June 25: Whiffenpoofs Collegiate a Cappella Singing
Where: Siam Bayshore Resort & Spa, Pattaya

June 25-26: Soccer Sevens Tournament

Held at Vichupa Ramintra, the Bangkok International Soccer 7s tournament features around 20 teams (Open Men's category) from various countries. Each team is guaranteed to play a minimum of four games and the tournament promises to be fast, furious and passionate.

June 30-July 03: Dog Show
Where: River City Mall, Trok Rongnamkhaeng, Bangkok,
When: 10:00 – 20:00
Buy specialised dog products, attend seminars and take your furry friend to the clinic at the annual Thailand International Dog Show in Bangkok's Impact Center. The dog-show champion is awarded the Royal Cup by Her Majesty the Queen Sirikit.
