July 01-03: Dog Show
Where: River City Mall, Trok Rongnamkhaeng, Bangkok,

Buy specialised dog products, attend seminars and take your furry friend to the clinic at the annual Thailand International Dog Show in Bangkok's Impact Center. The dog-show champion is awarded the Royal Cup by Her Majesty the Queen Sirikit.
July 04: US Independence Day
Where: Chiang Mai Municipal Stadium

Celebrate Independence Day from 14:00 – 20:00. Enjoy eating great food from popular restaurants such as The Duke’s, Miguel’s and The Steak House with an entertainment zone for children, teens and adults, including food, games, jumpers, raffles, music, dancing and fireworks! Tickets cost 160 baht for adults, 80 baht for six – 12 year old kids, and free for under six year old kids.
July 11-15: Lifesaving course
Where: Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort

Five-day basic Lifeguard Surf Lifesaving Training sessions are conducted and supervised by David Field, a renowned water safety expert from Australia. He has more than 20 years’ experience in lifesaving and is an assessor for Surf Life Saving Australia. This is coupled with 11 years’ experience training Thai lifeguards to Australian standards in Thai conditions.
July 13-16: Grapes and Grazing
Where: Mai Khao Beach, Phuket
When: 18:30 - 22:00
Winemakers from New Zealand, Australia and Italy will converge on North Phuket to enjoy great food paired with exquisite wines, while each winemaker personally tells you the history of their vineyard and their wine varieties. This is an opportunity to taste wines from four distinguished vineyards, paired with the cuisine of North Phuket's most creative chefs. Four course dinners with wine pairing is 2,200 baht.
July 15: Asanha Bucha Day

Prayers and candlelit processions take place in and around Buddhist temples across Thailand on Asanha Bucha Day, commemorating Buddha's first sermon. See Buddhist monks queue for offerings in Sanam Luang field, before they undertake three months of fasting.
July 17: Pattaya Asian Marathon
Where: Central Festival Pattaya Beach Plaza

The 18th Pattaya Asian Marathon will take place on Sunday, July 17, from around 4.20 a.m. onwards with a start point in front of the Central Festival Pattaya Beach Plaza. There will be a colourful collection of streetside stalls on Beach Road selling food and trinkets along with music and dance acts to accompany the race. For more information call 038-253-127-9.
July 17: Full Moon Party
Where: Haad Rin beach, Koh Pha Ngan
When: starts after dark
Thailand’s famous full moon party kicks off after dark on the beach of Haad Rin on the neighbouring island of Koh Phangan. Prepare to party hard as live music is hosted by a number of different beachside bars and DJs travel from all over the world to spin the latest tunes to party people.
