Relentless rains and thunder showers pulverized districts in several southern Thai provinces yesterday, leading officials to declare these as disaster zones. Several areas in provinces like Songkhla, Trang, Satun, Narathiwat and Phatthalung were pronounced disaster areas after more than four days of incessant rains and flooding.
